“Yes, it is about time that Loretta Lynch was sworn in to take on a job that she is more than qualified and capable of performing,” states Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer, Chair of the CLBC. “Especially after the Senate decided to use her appointment as a political pawn at a time when America needed more than ever to have its appointed Attorney General in place to address the strained relations and deep distrust between the police and the communities they serve that we see in cities such as Baltimore and Fergusson.”
