As my first year at Brandeis University has come to a close, I must sincerely thank the office of Senator Holly Mitchell. The support of your office was invaluable in ensuring that I could complete my first year with a lessened financial burden. I am overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude as I type this email on the laptop that you gifted to me.
I feel extremely hopeful for a bright future knowing that I have others willing to support me in my academic and personal goals. I had an amazing experience at Brandeis this year, expanding not only my academic interests in African and Afro-American Studies, Hispanic Studies, and International Finance and Economics, but also in my extracurricular interests in volunteering, work opportunities, and acapella singing. For next year, I have taken on leadership positions and have chosen fascinating classes to take. I am excited to continue my studies at Brandeis next year and for the years to follow.
