California Legislative Black Caucus Releases Statement Following Shooting Deaths Across Nation

SACRAMENTO – Senator Isadore Hall, III (D – South Bay), Chair of the California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) today released the following statement following the recent officer involved shooting deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Philando Castile in St. Paul, Minnesota and the five Dallas law enforcement officers who were killed and seven officers injured in the line of duty.

CLBC supports minimum wage increase

SACRAMENTO – The California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) today announced its support for SB 3 (Leno), landmark legislation that would increase California’s minimum wage to fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour by 2022.  In announcing the CLBC’s support, Caucus Chairman, Senator Isadore Hall, III released the following statement:
