San Francisco has elected London Breed to become the city's first African-American woman mayor.

The CLBC Members welcomed the CA. Black Chamber of Commerce, President, and CEO, Aubrey Stone. The CLBC Members presented him a resolution on the Assembly Chambers, recognizing his hard work and dedication to growing black economic businesses.

The CLBC will be celebrating the legacy of the Honorable Frederick Roberts as 2018 marks the 100 year anniversary of his joining the Legislature as the first African American Legislator.

Join us as we honor him through an exciting exhibit at the California Museum at 5pm on Feb. 15th.

Light refreshments will be served as we explore the Frederick Roberts exhibit and the And Still I Rise exhibit of Black quilters during this Black History Month.

This year the CLBC honored Dr. King's legacy with its Annual Breakfast where Democratic Political Strategist, Donna Brazile, was the keynote speaker. The Caucus also recognized 11 Unsung Heroes from across the state for their contribution to their respective communities.
