CLBC Releases 2014 Application for African American Leaders for Tomorrow (AALT) Program

SACRAMENTO – The members of the California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) invite all African American students across the state of California, who will be juniors or seniors in the 2014/2015 school year, to apply for the AALT Program.

The African-American Leaders for Tomorrow (AALT) Program is a four-day long residential summer program that is held on the campus of California State University Dominquez Hills (CSUDH). Sixty students are hand selected and receive leadership training and attend workshops on topics such as college experience, career development and financial literacy.

Students live on campus at CSUDH. Housing, meals, program materials, as well as transportation during the conference will be provided at no cost to the participants; and for students living outside of Los Angeles county transportation to the conference will also be provided.

Please contact your CLBC Representative’s office if you have any questions or Alana Troutt at (916) 651-4026 or alana.troutt@sen.ca.gov
