Assemblymember Chris Holden, a Democrat representing the communities of Altadena, Claremont, La Verne, Monrovia, Mt. Baldy, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, San Antonio Heights, Sierra Madre, and South Pasadena, was elected to the California State Assembly in 2012 and serves as Assembly Majority Floor Leader. Holden previously served on the Pasadena City Council, as Pasadena Mayor in 1997, and is president and owner of Pasadena-based CHMB Consulting Firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, San Diego. Holden’s legislative agenda is focused on construction and transit-oriented development for the Metro Gold Line Pasadena-Azusa-Montclair extension, economic opportunities for start-up companies and small businesses and support for active duty military personnel.
