The African-American Leaders for Tomorrow (AALT) Program is a four-day long residential summer program that is held on the campus of California State University Dominquez Hills (CSUDH). Sixty students are hand selected and receive leadership training and attend workshops on topics such as college experience, career development and financial literacy.
The CLBC, in collaboration with the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women (NOBEL-Women) invites you to attend the 2014 Annual Legislative Conference, which will be held from June 19th through 22nd, 2014 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
The CLBC will host an exhibit of Ebony and Jet magazines that were published during the Civil Rights Era. This exhibit can be viewed on the 2nd Floor Rotunda of the Capitol and is courtesy of Assemblymember Cheryl Brown.
