THE CLBC INVITES YOU TO THE LEGACY CONTINUES: COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN COMMUNITY SERVICE MLK, JR. LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST

What: The CLBC’s annual Martin Luther King Breakfast to honor the legacy of Dr. King and our relentless commitment to community service in the black community.

Who: Members of the Legislature, Lobbyists, Staff and members of the public are all welcome. To ensure your spot at this complimentary breakfast you must RSVP @ http://blackcaucus.legislature.ca.gov/ 

The honorees are as follows:

Myra Turner, Floor Coordinator for Speaker Anthony Rendon, Distinguished Government Service Award;
Mark Terry, of the Legislative Analyst’s Office, Distinguished Government Service Award
Rory Kaufman of Assemblymember Dr. Shirley Weber, Community Activist Award
Mr. Curtis J. Earnest former veteran Legislative staffer, The Diversity in Government Award
Attorney John Burris, of John Burris Law Firm, The Civil Rights Leadership Award.

Additionally, Roland S. Martin, renowned journalist of TV One’s News One Now, will deliver the keynote address.
